1. Who we are
The controller of your personal data is UAB „Tubinas International“, company code 300819433, VAT code LT100003167017, registered address Galinio Pylimo g. 16, 91232 Klaipėda, Lithuania, which operates Art Hotel Bohema Klaipėda. 2. What we collect and why
- Enquiries. When you e-mail or call us, you give us your name, your contact details and your question. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you, and steps taken at your request before a contract. E-mails are sorted and replies drafted with the help of an artificial-intelligence service (see section 3); a member of staff reviews every reply before it is sent.
- Bookings. Rooms chosen on this site are booked and paid for in the Tubinas booking system at tubinas.lt: your name, e-mail, phone, stay dates, room and amount. Card payments are processed by the payment institution Paysera — we never see your card details. Bookings made through Booking.com are handled under Booking.com’s own privacy policy. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legal obligations (guest registration, accounting).
- Statistics. Only if you press “Accept all” in the cookie banner do we load Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.). It records the pages viewed, the dates searched, the room chosen and the booking value — not your name or e-mail — and links the visit to the payment on tubinas.lt. Without consent no analytics code is loaded. Legal basis: your consent.
- Technical data. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses and browser data to deliver and protect it. The contact map loads its tiles from OpenStreetMap, and the hotel video is loaded from YouTube only when you press play. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.
3. Who receives the data
We do not sell personal data. Under data processing agreements it is available only to our service providers — Cloudflare (hosting, security), Microsoft (e-mail), the Tubinas booking system (bookings), Paysera (payments) and Google (analytics, only with your consent) — and to public authorities where the law requires it. Some providers (Cloudflare, Microsoft, Google) may process data outside the EU; such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. The content of e-mails is also passed to OpenAI’s artificial-intelligence service in the United States, which sorts them and drafts replies.
4. How long we keep it
- Enquiries — 2 years after our last correspondence.
- Booking and accounting records — 10 years, as Lithuanian accounting law requires.
- Analytics data — 14 months.
- Your cookie choice — in your browser, until you change it or clear the site data.
5. Cookies and browser storage
We use no advertising cookies.
- Necessary — your cookie choice (bohema-consent-v1, in the browser’s local storage) and short-lived booking details needed to hand you over to payment.
- Analytics, only with consent — the Google Analytics cookies _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years), which tell visitors and visits apart.
You can change your choice at any time — open the cookie settings (the “Cookie settings” link is at the bottom of every page). If you withdraw consent, the site switches Google Analytics off and deletes its _ga and _ga_* cookies.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Write to [email protected] — we reply within one month. If you believe your data is handled unlawfully, you may complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt).

We may update this policy; the current version, with its effective date, is always published on this page.
